When first opening the bag and smelling the contents there is a very light smell to the chips. Not the usual burn your nose sort of smell that you are used to when eating salt and vinegar potato chips. The chips are a nice golden yellow color. They have a good crunch and a light peanutty flavor as an undernote. The salt and vinegar taste is weak and lacking. My boyfriend described the flavor as very mild. I would say these chips would be good for someone with sensitive taste buds or someone who is wary of salt and vinegar flavor.
I think their advertisement statements are ostentatious and a bit pushy. They just really turned me off. I will most likely not purchase this brand again for they were not anything special. Their only redeeming quality is the nice crunch from the thick cut kettle cooked chips. But, their flavor unfortunately falls flat. Like, I said this would be a great brand for someone who just wants a slight salt and vinegar taste or someone who is just starting to experiment with the flavor. But, if you want your salt and vinegar chips to pack a punch then this isn't the bag for you.
